This program is committed to exploring the functions and diversity of ecosystems, while pinpointing challenges in biodiversity conservation and management. Through foundational courses spanning organismal biology, evolutionary studies, taxonomy, genetics, and population ecology, students gain insight into biological hierarchies from genes to ecosystems.
